I didn't end up doing much in the way of scheduled events. I suppose there weren't that many planned things I was too interested in [though I had been interested in some of the card gaming, and there were some cosplay workshops I ended up missing that I'd wanted to go to]... But all in all it was good. My friend and I watched a sneak peak for stuff coming out soon from Funimation. He and I also gave out some business cards for our podcast, so that was good!
One down note of the con was that I lost my phase gun. =[ At some point while watching the Sailor Moon cosplay chess, it must have fallen out of my holster [possibly when I ran to get a picture of a Seung Mina cosplayer] and somebody snatched it up. Lost & found didn't see it the rest of the weekend, so it must have been that somebody snagged it. It's really disappointing, and I was in a shitty mood most of the day thereafter, but I've come to accept and get past it. It just sucks that I spent that time making it, AND used the majority of my remaining Paperclay... But the biggest deal was that I lost it before I had gotten any pictures of me holding it [some people got some, so that's good for them], and before we did the SO photoshoot. That was the big downer of it all. I can at least take solace in the idea that apparently it was good looking enough that some one wanted it? Hopefully they enjoy it and at least know where / what it's from. If whoever DID grab it should ever see this / my page, however unlikely it is, I'd certainly like it back... Just sayin'.
So yeah, Anime North 2012 was a success and I'm looking forward to next year's!
